Project Manager

Job Summary

Lead civil construction projects for PCL Civil Constructors in Dallas, with a focus on expanding the company’s water and wastewater business. This role oversees project delivery from planning through closeout while coordinating clients, subcontractors, designers, and internal teams.

Project Details

The position supports water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the Dallas market. Design-build experience may include design coordination, constructability reviews, quality audits, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct contract administration, technical coordination, project safety, quality, budget, resources, and schedule.
• Prepare performance reporting, manage project risks and opportunities, and develop value-engineering recommendations.
• Negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, revisions, and progress payments while monitoring supplier and subcontractor performance.
• Interpret and enforce contract documents and support commissioning and project closeout.
• For design-build work, coordinate design progress, compliance, quality, constructability, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Five to eight years of progressive construction experience; leadership and mentoring experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, construction law, building codes, safety, and quality management.
• Strong planning, organization, communication, budget, and scheduling skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools, scheduling software, and emerging technology.
