Project Manager 2- Self Perform, Advanced Facilities Group

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Manager 2 to lead moderately complex construction projects or major portions of larger assignments within its Advanced Facilities Group. The role is based in Brownsville and supports self-perform, industrial, manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor work.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large-scale industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects. This position may support multiple or moderately complex projects across preconstruction and construction.

Responsibilities

• Direct project operations, administration, safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.
• Support estimating, preconstruction planning, buyout, bid packages, subcontract awards, and scope reviews.
• Coordinate subcontractors, owners, designers, vendors, field teams, logistics, and internal resources.
• Manage submittals, change requests, pay applications, project documentation, cost forecasts, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with the superintendent, including resource and procurement planning.
• Identify risks and schedule impacts, develop mitigation plans, and lead project closeout activities.
• Build external relationships through business, industry, and community involvement.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 7 years of construction management experience.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, scheduling, and construction technology software.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, presentations, Lean processes, and construction management methods.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work at project sites or in an office.
