Project Manager 2, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 2 to lead moderately complex mission critical construction projects or major portions of larger programs. The role provides project direction, coordinates internal and external partners, and supports safe, successful, and financially sound delivery.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large-scale data center, semiconductor, industrial, and manufacturing projects for innovative clients. Assignments may be based at project sites, in the office, or across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage project operations, administration, safety culture, risk, budget, schedule, quality, and closeout.
• Support preconstruction activities including takeoffs, scope development, bid packages, trade coordination, and procurement.
• Lead buyout, subcontract issuance, submittal coordination, change management, pay applications, and project reporting.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, logistics, and other internal resources.
• Develop and maintain schedules, cost forecasts, business plans, and mitigation strategies for project impacts.
• Manage deliverables and apply Lean practices to improve project execution and financial performance.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 7 years of construction management experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, project processes, budgeting, profitability, scheduling, and risk management.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software; intermediate MS Office and Lean skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in varied site conditions and non-traditional hours.
