Project Manager 2, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Manager 2 to direct moderately complex mission-critical construction work or defined portions of larger projects in El Paso. The role manages project operations, administration, safety, cost, schedule, quality, and stakeholder coordination.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers mission-critical, industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects for technology-focused clients. This position may support multiple or moderately complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, buyout, subcontract administration, submittals, change management, scheduling, pay applications, reporting, and closeout.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, logistics, and internal support groups.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, margins, procurement, risks, and schedule impacts, developing mitigation plans when needed.
• Promote an injury-free work environment, investigate incidents, and support safety awareness and retraining.
• Lead project reviews, progress meetings, and owner-architect-contractor meetings.
• Manage project business plans and deliverables while identifying problems and recommending solutions.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 7 years of construction management experience.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, Microsoft Office, and Lean process skills.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work at project sites or in an office and accommodate non-traditional hours, travel, or relocation as project needs require.
