Project Manager 2- Aviation

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 2 to direct moderately complex aviation construction work or defined portions of larger projects in the Atlanta area. The role manages project delivery, administration, financial performance, coordination, and client relationships.

Project Details

The position supports aviation construction projects and may be assigned between project sites and office locations. Work may involve non-traditional hours, travel, or relocation based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety performance, preconstruction planning, procurement, subcontract administration, and project coordination.
• Manage submittals, change requests, pay applications, schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, risk, and project reporting.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and internal support groups.
• Lead project meetings, mitigate schedule impacts, maintain project documentation, and oversee closeout activities.
• Manage multiple or moderately complex projects while supporting quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 7 years of construction management experience; aviation project experience is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, project processes, budgeting, Lean practices, and team collaboration.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a professional non-union position with a company benefits package. The role may require lifting up to 25 pounds and working in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours.
