Project Manager 2 - ATX

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Manager 2 in Austin to lead moderately complex construction projects or defined portions of larger projects. The role manages project operations, administration, financial performance, risk, schedule, quality, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead project safety efforts and promote an injury-free work environment.
• Support preconstruction activities, including estimating, trade coordination, scope development, bidding, and buyout.
• Manage submittals, subcontractor coordination, change requests, pay applications, project documentation, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, procurement tracking, cost forecasts, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and internal resources.
• Lead project reviews, progress meetings, and owner-architect-contractor meetings.
• Manage multiple or moderately complex projects and contribute to client, industry, and community relationships.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 7 years of construction management experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, project processes, budgeting, scheduling, and financial management.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, presentations, communication, and Lean processes.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Compensation and Benefits
