Project Manager 1 - Offsite Manufacturing

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Manager 1 to direct and administer offsite manufacturing work, either independently or as part of a larger project team. The role partners closely with the Project Superintendent and builds effective relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Project Details

This position supports offsite manufacturing projects and coordinates preconstruction, procurement, construction administration, scheduling, financial management, and closeout activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project safety efforts, prestart activities, procurement, subcontract awards, submittals, and stakeholder coordination.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, material and labor logs, and mitigation plans for schedule risks.
• Manage change requests, owner and subcontractor payment applications, project reporting, cost forecasts, and margin analysis.
• Lead project meetings, maintain documentation for budget, quality, legal, schedule, and safety decisions, and oversee closeout.
• Coordinate with risk management and legal counsel as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least five years of construction management experience.
• Working knowledge of construction management methods, project processes, budgets, scheduling, Lean practices, and project accounting.
• Intermediate MS Office and communication skills, with advanced proficiency in project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.
