Project Manager 1, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Manager 1 to lead administrative, financial, scheduling, procurement, and coordination activities for mission critical and advanced facilities construction projects in El Paso. The role works closely with the Project Superintendent and builds relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Project Details

JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group delivers large industrial, manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects. Assignments may involve project sites and office environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct project operations, safety culture, preconstruction, buyout, submittals, change management, meetings, and closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, owners, design teams, vendors, logistics, risk management, and field operations.
• Develop and maintain schedules, procurement and material logs, cost forecasts, budgets, reports, and margin analyses.
• Identify schedule and cost risks, document project decisions, support mitigation plans, and monitor project profitability.
• Lead owner and subcontractor pay applications, change requests, project reviews, and final closeout activities.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least five years of construction management experience.
• Experience with construction management fundamentals, project accounting, scheduling software, construction technology, Lean practices, and MS Office.
• Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, budgeting, relationship-building, and project leadership skills.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in varying environmental conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

The position is classified as professional non-union and includes the company’s benefits package. Non-traditional hours may be required to support project needs.
