Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary

Garney Construction is seeking a Project Engineer in Venice, Florida, to support project management and gain entry-level experience on water and wastewater construction projects.

Project Details

This role supports water and wastewater infrastructure work and may require travel and flexible hours based on project demands.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals and requests for information.
• Coordinate project activities from initial setup through closeout.
• Support material purchasing, estimating, scheduling, field operations, and crew coordination.
• Maintain project records, job cost details, and other management documentation.
• Communicate professionally with owners, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Strong organization, planning, attention to detail, and willingness to work the hours required for project success.
