Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Project Engineer in Kingsport to support water and wastewater construction projects while gaining entry-level project management experience.

Project Details

This role supports water and wastewater infrastructure work and requires coordination across project management, field operations, owners, architects, engineers, suppliers, and crews.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals and requests for information.
• Coordinate projects through setup, execution, and closeout.
• Support material purchasing, estimating, scheduling, field operations, and crew coordination.
• Maintain project documentation and detailed job cost records.
• Communicate professionally with owners and design professionals.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Strong organization, planning, attention to detail, and willingness to work the hours needed for project success.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Compensation and Benefits
