Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project management team on heavy civil pipe construction work in Cape Coral. This entry-level opportunity is suited to a civil engineering or construction management graduate who wants to build project management experience.

Project Details

The role supports heavy civil pipe projects, including project coordination, documentation, cost tracking, scheduling, and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals and requests for information.
• Coordinate project activities from startup through closeout.
• Support estimating, scheduling, crew coordination, and field operations.
• Assist with material purchasing and negotiation.
• Maintain project records, job costs, and closeout documentation.
• Communicate professionally with owners, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel and work the schedule required by project demands.
