Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project management team on heavy civil pipe work in Asheboro. This entry-level opportunity is suited to a civil engineering or construction management graduate building project management experience.

Project Details

The role supports heavy civil pipe projects and may require travel and flexible hours based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals and requests for information.
• Coordinate project activities from mobilization through closeout.
• Assist with estimating, scheduling, material purchasing, and crew planning.
• Maintain project documentation, job costs, and closeout records.
• Support field operations and communicate professionally with owners, architects, and engineers.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Strong organization, planning, attention to detail, and willingness to work the hours required by the project.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
