Project Engineer (Naples)

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in Naples to support project delivery, subcontract coordination, document control, cost tracking, scheduling, quality, and closeout activities.

Responsibilities

• Administer assigned trade partner scopes, respond to inquiries, and monitor subcontractor progress.
• Support change order pricing and evaluate cost and schedule effects.
• Manage RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, as-built records, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, designers, and trade partners on safety, schedule, quality, and performance.
• Prepare progress claims and estimates, track materials and equipment, and expedite orders.
• Assist with inspections, constructability coordination, code and authority requirements, and issue resolution.
• Support project closeout, including archives, deficiencies, warranty documentation, and follow-up work.

Required Experience

• One to three years of construction experience in an operational role is preferred.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, equipment, drawings, specifications, materials, HSE, quality, and applicable standards.
• Ability to apply basic engineering and problem-solving principles to field challenges.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, scheduling, multitasking, and subcontract coordination skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn internal technology systems.
