Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Engineer for its Advanced Facilities Group, supporting industrial and manufacturing construction projects in the Atlanta-area market. The role provides hands-on exposure to field execution, project administration, safety, quality, scheduling, and closeout.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects. This position is based in Social Circle, Georgia, and may involve travel or relocation depending on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations, crew planning, self-perform work, materials, equipment, and productivity tracking.
• Assist with safety planning, toolbox talks, quality assurance, inspections, punch lists, and project documentation.
• Prepare estimates, schedules, daily logs, progress reports, procurement logs, and cost analyses.
• Track drawings, specifications, shop drawings, deliveries, subcontractor scope, and project changes.
• Use CMiC and other company systems for project setup, administration, reporting, and closeout.
• Coordinate with project leadership, trades, subcontractors, and internal support teams.
• Support project closeout, including as-built drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, and remaining punch-list work.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 2 years of construction experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with construction technology, Lean practices, construction methods, self-perform work, and labor productivity.
• Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with project teams, assess productivity, and complete accurate work on schedule.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
