Project Engineer

Job Summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support solar construction operations in Camden or Eaton, Ohio, with potential assignments at projects across the United States.

Project Details

This role supports utility-scale solar construction and may involve relocation between projects in Ohio, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Kentucky, Washington, and other states.

Responsibilities

• Support trade partner administration, scopes of work, inquiries, progress tracking, and change orders.
• Manage RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, as-built records, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, designers, and trade partners on schedule, cost, safety, quality, and constructability.
• Prepare progress claims and estimates, track materials and equipment, and expedite deliveries.
• Assist with inspections, code and authority requirements, project closeout, warranty documentation, and deficiency resolution.

Required Experience

• One to three years of construction experience in an operational role is preferred.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of construction equipment, methods, drawings, specifications, HSE, quality requirements, and building materials.
• Ability to develop schedules, coordinate subcontracts, solve construction problems, communicate effectively, and use Microsoft Office and operational systems.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
