Project Engineer 2

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer 2 in Tulsa to support construction project delivery, field operations, project administration, safety, quality, and coordination with project teams and trade partners.

Responsibilities

• Support estimating, change management, scheduling, procurement, cost tracking, and project administration.
• Assist with safety planning, quality control, inspections, meetings, reports, and project documentation.
• Monitor site activities, crews, labor hours, materials, equipment, productivity, and self-perform work.
• Coordinate subcontractor scopes, shop drawings, deliveries, crew schedules, and project updates.
• Support punch lists, closeout documentation, as-built drawings, and operations and maintenance manuals.
• Use CMiC and other company technologies while applying construction best practices and Lean principles.
• Collaborate with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, tradespeople, and internal support teams.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least two years of construction experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with construction technology, project productivity, self-perform work, and construction methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and on active jobsites.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours when project needs require it.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a professional non-union position with an associated benefits package. The role may require travel or relocation and offers a career path toward Senior Project Engineer or Superintendent 1.
