Project Engineer 2

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to support construction project delivery, field coordination, project administration, safety, quality, scheduling, and closeout activities in Austin.

Responsibilities

• Support project estimates, change management, schedules, daily logs, reports, and project documentation.
• Coordinate field activities, crew planning, self-perform work, materials, equipment, and productivity tracking.
• Assist with safety plans, toolbox talks, quality reviews, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout.
• Track procurement, shop drawings, deliveries, subcontractor scopes, and project schedule updates.
• Maintain project administration in CMiC and other company systems.
• Collaborate with superintendents, subcontractors, tradespeople, and internal project support teams.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 2 years of construction experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with construction technology, Lean practices, construction methods, self-perform work, and labor productivity.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work non-traditional hours as project needs require.
