Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 3 to lead moderately complex pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical construction projects in Raleigh. This role oversees field execution, project teams, safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance from mobilization through closeout.

Project Details

The position supports stand-alone pharma and biopharma projects or major portions of larger projects, coordinating multiple field supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal resources.

Responsibilities

• Direct site safety, subcontractor coordination, staffing, workflow, and construction sequencing.
• Develop and maintain schedules with project management, monitor changes and risks, and support cost and budget tracking.
• Lead daily, trade, owner-architect-contractor, and project review meetings.
• Manage site logistics, materials, equipment, documentation, quality processes, inspections, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate self-perform work, labor productivity, timecard approvals, procurement, and project deliverables.
• Support pursuits, client relationships, change negotiations, business development, and recruiting.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 8 years of construction experience, including 5 or more years in field supervision.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project management and accounting software, construction technology, Lean practices, trades, layout, crane flagging, and rigging.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, collaboration, and project coordination skills.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours.
