ME Engineer 3, Commissioning Lead, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking an M/E Engineer 3 to lead commissioning and increasingly complex mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities for mission-critical projects in Nashville.

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large-scale data center, semiconductor, industrial, and manufacturing projects for innovative clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical and electrical estimates, scopes of work, systems analyses, sequencing plans, and bid evaluations.
• Review design documents and shop drawings, support constructability and quality control, and perform field inspections.
• Develop commissioning plans, pre-functional checklists, and functional testing procedures.
• Verify testing performance, track correction of deficiencies, and submit commissioning documentation to owners.
• Mentor less experienced team members and improve M/E tools, processes, and work products.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Five or more years of construction and/or engineering experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret plans, drawings, and specifications and communicate effectively with project teams.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and a valid, unrestricted driver’s license required.
