General Superintendent- Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a General Superintendent to independently lead complex mission-critical construction work, coordinate project teams, and drive safe, timely, and quality execution from planning through closeout.

Project Details

The role oversees one or more complex mission-critical projects and may provide direction across multiple project teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan construction sequencing, develop work plans, and manage project schedules in partnership with project management.
• Lead subcontractors, suppliers, staff, and field operations while coordinating site logistics, materials, equipment, and self-perform work.
• Champion safety, quality, documentation, meetings, reporting, and project closeout activities.
• Support project budgeting, cost tracking, change management, procurement, buyout, and owner or design-team communications.
• Provide leadership for strategic initiatives, training content, staffing, talent development, and multiple complex projects.

Required Experience

• 12 or more years of construction experience, including at least 10 years in field supervision.
• Advanced communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in construction technology, project management or accounting software, and scheduling software.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods, trade scopes, self-perform operations, labor productivity, layout, crane flagging, rigging, cost management, and Lean practices.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may substitute.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
