Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Field Engineer to connect office engineering staff with field crews and support the successful delivery of water and wastewater construction projects in McKinney, Texas.

Project Details

The role supports water and wastewater infrastructure work, with daily field coordination involving Garney crews, subcontractors, engineering requirements, materials, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Verify that field construction follows engineering specifications.
• Perform site surveying and layout activities.
• Review shop drawings and maintain as-built records.
• Inspect completed work and confirm materials are properly received and stored.
• Prepare daily and periodic project reports.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities in the field.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Willingness to travel and work the hours required by the project.
• Position is suited to an early-career professional seeking project management experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary starts at $75,000 per year.
