Garney is seeking a Field Engineer to connect office engineering staff with field crews and support successful project delivery in Jacksonville.

Project Details

This Field Engineer - Plant role supports plant construction work and requires regular field presence.

Responsibilities

• Verify field and subcontractor work against engineering requirements.
• Perform site surveying and layout.
• Review and process shop drawings.
• Maintain as-built records and complete construction audits.
• Prepare daily and periodic project reports.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and manage project documentation and material receiving.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work the schedule and hours required for project success.
• Willingness to travel.
• Suitable for candidates seeking entry-level project management experience.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary starts at $75,000 per year.
