Garney is seeking a Field Engineer to connect office engineering teams with field crews on heavy civil pipe projects in Greenville, South Carolina. This entry-level opportunity provides exposure to project management, field coordination, and construction documentation.

Project Details

The role supports heavy civil pipe construction, including field layout, engineering compliance, subcontractor coordination, materials handling, and as-built documentation.

Responsibilities

• Verify that self-performed and subcontracted work follows engineering requirements.
• Survey and lay out construction areas.
• Review shop drawings and maintain as-built records.
• Audit completed work and prepare daily and periodic reports.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and help confirm proper receipt and storage of materials.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work in the field and travel or adjust hours as project needs require.
• Interest in developing entry-level project management experience.
