Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Field Engineer to support pipe and heavy civil construction projects by connecting office engineering teams with field operations. This entry-level opportunity provides a path toward project management experience.

Project Details

The role supports heavy civil pipe construction and requires field presence, coordination with subcontractors, and work in accordance with engineering requirements.

Responsibilities

• Verify field work and materials against project plans and specifications.
• Perform site surveying and layout activities.
• Review shop drawings and maintain as-built documentation.
• Audit completed work and prepare daily and periodic reports.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and support proper material handling.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Willingness to travel and work the hours necessary to support project completion.
• Ability to work in an active construction field environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary starts at $80,000.
