Field Engineer

Job Summary

PCL Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer in Chandler, Arizona, to support field operations, project documentation, quality activities, and coordination with superintendents and trade partners.

Responsibilities

• Support workforce planning, trade contractor coordination, RFIs, shop drawings, changes, billings, and project document control.
• Assist with self-perform work by tracking labor, crew sizes, quantities, and labor cost reporting.
• Support inspections, orientations, hazard correction, third-party reviews, and site issue resolution.
• Help implement quality plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
• Mentor field engineers, students, and interns while maintaining productive relationships with project partners.

Required Experience

• Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Entry-level field engineering or coordination experience is preferred; relevant internships may qualify.
• Working knowledge of construction specifications, methods, self-perform and subcontracted scopes, temporary works, equipment, and scheduling.
• Strong technical writing, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction-related software.
