Engineering/Technical Student

Job Summary

PCL Civil Constructors is seeking an Engineering/Technical Student in Tampa for future construction opportunities. This temporary student role offers practical experience supporting field and project teams during the May through August period.

Responsibilities

• Support field engineers, project engineers, project managers, and superintendents.
• Assist with safety and quality audits, drawing reviews, reports, submittals, RFIs, and project records.
• Help with surveying, project layout, field equipment, subcontractor coordination, material deliveries, and project meetings.
• Prepare project correspondence, meeting documentation, contracts, and other administrative materials.
• Assist with estimating and obtaining information and pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.

Required Experience

• Current full-time enrollment in a construction-related degree program, such as construction management, construction engineering, or construction technology.
• Interest in pursuing a construction career.
• Availability to work full time from May through August.
• Willingness to temporarily relocate to project locations.
• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of the required pre-employment substance screening.
