Electrical Superintendent, Mission Critical 1

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to oversee field execution for mission critical and advanced facilities construction. The role leads project safety, trade coordination, scheduling, quality, site operations, and team performance on complex assignments.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers data center, semiconductor, industrial, and manufacturing projects for innovative clients across the country. This position manages a complex stand-alone project or a major project segment from mobilization through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, field staff, work plans, site logistics, materials, and equipment.
• Build and maintain project schedules with the Project Manager while tracking progress, costs, changes, and risks.
• Lead daily and trade meetings, owner and architect coordination, project reviews, and field communications.
• Maintain project records, drawings, reports, inspection documentation, and timecard approvals.
• Drive safety, quality assurance, Lean practices, productivity, and project closeout activities.
• Coordinate staffing, procurement, buyout, change negotiations, and project pursuit support.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction experience and 3 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project management systems, accounting software, construction technology, and relevant trade scopes.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, collaboration, layout, rigging, budget management, and document-change analysis skills.
• Lean experience is preferred, along with a valid unrestricted driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and active construction environments.
