Concrete Superintendent

Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Concrete Superintendent in Englewood, Colorado, to lead self-perform concrete construction and field operations for water and wastewater treatment projects.

Project Details

The work includes heavy civil treatment plant construction and structural concrete elements such as foundations, walls, slabs, tanks, and equipment pads.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily concrete operations and supervise field crews.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and schedules to maintain project progress.
• Promote safe, high-quality execution and develop field personnel.
• Work with project managers, engineers, inspectors, owners, architects, and other trades to resolve field issues.
• Purchase materials, maintain as-built records, analyze inventory, and survey the job site.

Required Experience

• At least five years of concrete construction experience with foreman or superintendent leadership experience.
• Experience leading self-perform structural concrete crews on heavy civil or industrial projects.
• Water or wastewater treatment plant experience is preferred.
• Degree in civil engineering or construction management, or comparable practical experience.
• Ability to read construction drawings, manage schedules, and communicate effectively.
• Commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and travel as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range is $125,000-$160,000 per year.
