Building Systems Manager

Job Summary

PCL Construction Enterprises is seeking a Building Systems Manager in Denver to oversee the planning, coordination, quality, and delivery of mechanical and electrical construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor building systems trade progress, quality, constructability, schedule performance, and compliance with project documents.
• Manage critical submittals, coordination documentation, drawing and model coordination, and building systems sequencing.
• Review trade contracts, identify project risks, and manage changes affecting scope, budget, and schedule.
• Lead the building systems commissioning process and recommend project improvements to site teams.
• Build productive relationships with customers, project stakeholders, and decision makers.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related mechanical, electrical, controls, or trades education is preferred.
• Seven to ten years of progressive mechanical or electrical construction experience, including at least two years supervising others.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, construction practices, building codes, and relevant construction law.
• Ability to coordinate mechanical, electrical, architectural, civil, and structural drawings and specifications.
• Effective communication, planning, organization, prioritization, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn and use new software quickly.

Compensation and Benefits
