BIM VDC Coordinator

Job Summary

Garney is seeking a BIM/VDC Coordinator in Winter Garden to support project delivery from design through construction. The role partners with project teams to manage project-level modeling, coordination, and BIM deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and adapt 3D models for estimating, preconstruction, and field operations.
• Create 4D sequencing visuals, virtual mockups, presentations, and other project graphics.
• Coordinate subcontractor work in Navisworks, identify scope gaps, and manage clash reports through resolution.
• Support COBie requirements and establish model-based layout points with field engineers and subcontractors.
• Perform field QA/QC walks, compare installations with coordinated models, and document project information for case studies.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related discipline.
• Three to 10 years of construction experience, including at least one year performing BIM/VDC work.
• Experience coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades.
