Garney Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support heavy civil water and wastewater construction in Lexington, Texas. This field leadership role is suited to a safety-focused professional who can coordinate crews, materials, documentation, and project stakeholders.

The position supports water and wastewater infrastructure projects and requires experience running crews on heavy civil construction work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material purchasing and negotiate with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate as-built records and analyze inventory.
• Serve as a field contact for the owner and architect or engineer.
• Survey and monitor the construction site.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Five to seven years of experience leading crews on heavy civil water and wastewater projects.
• Strong safety leadership and construction knowledge.
