Job Summary

Garney Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support pipe and heavy civil utility construction operations in McKinney, Texas. The role requires progressive construction experience and strong field leadership.

Project Details

The position supports heavy civil utility and pipe construction projects, with travel required as project assignments dictate.

Responsibilities

• Promote jobsite safety and establish field expectations.
• Develop six-week look-ahead schedules and track overall progress.
• Coordinate with project management and monitor labor quantities and job costs.
• Prepare daily and periodic reports.
• Oversee quality control and subcontractor performance.
• Train craft workers and mentor field engineers.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in heavy civil utility construction or a closely related field.
• Willingness to travel is required.
