Assistant Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary

Garney Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support water and wastewater construction projects in Savannah, Georgia. The position requires progressive construction experience and collaboration with project stakeholders.

Project Details

This role supports water and wastewater infrastructure construction, including site coordination, documentation, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor management.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, maintain project schedules, and prepare detailed drafting.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
• Survey job sites, update as-built records, and support field safety oversight.
• Track labor hours and prepare daily and periodic project reports.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Four to seven years of construction experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
