Job Summary

Garney is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support heavy civil pipe construction work in Riverview, Florida. The role is suited to a construction professional with experience in water and wastewater projects.

Project Details

This position supports water and wastewater infrastructure construction, including pipe-related project coordination and field activities.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, maintain project schedules, and prepare detailed drafts.
• Communicate with owners and design professionals while coordinating subcontractors and material procurement.
• Visit and survey active job sites, monitor safety, and update as-built records.
• Track labor hours and prepare daily and periodic project reports.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Four to seven years of construction experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
