Assistant Project Manager - Electrical

Job Summary

Garney is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support electrical construction operations in Tempe, Arizona. The role requires progressive construction experience and coordination across project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, maintain project schedules, complete drafting, and update as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Purchase materials, survey job sites, monitor safety, and track project labor hours.
• Prepare daily and periodic reports and maintain project records.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Four to seven years of construction experience.
• Experience with construction scheduling systems and detailed drafting.
• Willingness to travel.
