Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary

Garney is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support water and wastewater construction projects in Orlando. The role combines project administration, field coordination, document control, and communication with owners and design teams.

Project Details

This position supports construction work in the water and wastewater infrastructure sector and may require travel.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, maintain as-built documentation, and perform detailed drafting.
• Use project scheduling systems and prepare daily and periodic updates.
• Coordinate subcontractors, purchase materials, and track project labor hours.
• Survey job sites, monitor safety, and communicate with owners and architects or engineers.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Four to seven years of construction experience.
• Willingness to travel.
