Aspen Superintendent

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations and project delivery in Aspen, Colorado. This employee-owned company offers opportunities to work across sectors while developing construction leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams, subcontractors, trades, and company forces while maintaining productivity, quality, schedule, and safety standards.
• Plan and manage project schedules, critical-path activities, project execution plans, and three-week lookaheads.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, estimators, clients, consultants, labor representatives, and other site stakeholders.
• Review contracts and subcontracts, manage documentation, and identify risks affecting budget, forecast, profitability, and constructability.
• Run effective site meetings, resolve conflicts, and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.

Required Experience

• Journeyman certificate or related undergraduate or engineering degree.
• NCSO designation required; enrollment in the Gold Seal program is preferred.
• Approximately 10 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred, including successful construction workforce supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, specifications, materials, safety and environmental requirements, contracts, cost reporting, productivity, and scheduling software.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internal operational systems, with demonstrated problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and professional judgment skills.

Compensation and Benefits
