Aptitude Project Manager 1

Job Summary

JE Dunn’s Aptitude team is seeking a Project Manager 1 in Raleigh to support technology integration work on building projects. The role combines project coordination, estimating, technical consultation, cost management, and stakeholder communication.

Aptitude delivers technology-related services, including design assistance, system installation, network integration, and related project scopes for modern building projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technology design and construction activities while supporting quality, cost, schedule, and technical goals.
• Develop scopes of work, responsibility matrices, project plans, schedules, budgets, and staffing projections.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and gather vendor and trade partner pricing for budgets and proposals.
• Track project milestones, resolve issues, manage documentation, and report progress to project stakeholders.
• Support safety initiatives, Aptitude standards, project delivery strategies, and team development.
• Manage billing, collections, cost projections, and post-project evaluations.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, information technology, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least five years of experience with information technology, security, or life-safety systems.
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Intermediate communication and Microsoft Office skills, along with proposal, fee, work-plan, presentation, budgeting, and collaboration capabilities.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work at project sites or in an office.

Compensation and Benefits
