Job Summary

Weeks Marine is seeking a senior Project Manager to direct construction projects from planning through closeout, with responsibility for safety, production, staffing, client relationships, and financial performance. The position is based in Cranford, New Jersey, with work located throughout the Northeast.

Project Details

The marine construction portfolio includes infrastructure, bridge, dock, and other heavy civil projects serving private and government clients. Teams may relocate between project locations based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead project administration, superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and field operations.
• Coordinate project meetings, work sequencing, staffing, procurement needs, and long-lead deliveries.
• Monitor estimates, job costs, cash flow, schedules, change orders, and project financial objectives.
• Maintain safety, quality, production, and compliance expectations across the project.
• Resolve technical and operational issues and communicate work scopes with department leaders.
• Manage project closeout, including documentation, retainage, claims, and outstanding commitments.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of construction project management experience with successful infrastructure, bridge, dock, or marine project outcomes.
• Ability to interpret schedules, cost controls, owner specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Construction engineering, construction management, or related undergraduate degree preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, leadership, independent judgment, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required and to work at varying project locations.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation is $157,000-$197,000 per year. Eligible full-time staff receive medical, dental, vision, wellness, employee assistance, life and disability insurance, retirement matching, and paid time off.
