Job Summary

Weeks Marine is seeking a senior Project Manager to direct construction projects from planning through closeout, with responsibility for field leadership, financial performance, safety, quality, and client relationships. The position is based in Cranford, New Jersey, with assignments across the Northeast.

Project Details

The role supports marine and heavy civil work, including infrastructure, bridge, dock, and related projects for private and public-sector clients. Teams may relocate between project locations based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management teams, superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and field operations.
• Coordinate schedules, work plans, staffing, construction methods, procurement needs, and long-lead deliveries.
• Monitor budgets, job costs, cash flow, estimates, change orders, claims, and overall financial results.
• Maintain safety, quality, production, communication, and compliance standards throughout construction.
• Address technical and operational issues and complete project documentation and closeout activities.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of construction project management experience with successful infrastructure, bridge, dock, or marine projects.
• Ability to interpret schedules, cost controls, owner requirements, and engineering drawings.
• Construction engineering, construction management, or related undergraduate degree preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, detail management, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying project conditions as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation is $157,000-$197,000 per year. Full-time staff benefits include medical, dental, vision, wellness and employee assistance programs, life and disability insurance, retirement plans with matching, and paid time off.
