T&D Construction Manager Kiewit Power Delivery

Job Summary

Kiewit Power Delivery is seeking a senior-level T&D Construction Manager to lead contractor-side execution of complex transmission, substation, and distribution infrastructure projects.

Project Details

The role supports electric utility power delivery work, including high-voltage overhead and underground transmission, substations, distribution systems, and related EPC or design-build activities. Assignments may be based in area offices or project locations across Ohio, North Carolina, Oregon, Utah, Kansas, and Texas.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall construction execution, material coordination, logistics, and contractor activities.
• Develop and review construction plans, coordinate outage schedules, and plan commissioning work.
• Maintain field safety protocols and lead on-site construction management briefings.
• Coordinate general, logistics, EPC, and design-build contractors.
• Report project progress, costs, schedule conditions, risks, and uncertainties to clients and internal teams.
• Work with project managers, schedulers, controllers, engineers, and support personnel to resolve issues.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in utility construction, electrical transmission and distribution, or substation work.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, safety requirements, and applicable industry standards.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, problem-solving, and project-management capabilities.
• Reliable attendance, safe work practices, and availability for overtime and weekend work when required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $128,000-$134,000 per year. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, wellness, employee assistance, life and disability insurance, retirement plans with matching, and paid time off.
