Superintendent- Weeks Construction- Hawaii

Job Summary

Weeks Marine is seeking a construction Superintendent to lead field operations for heavy civil and marine infrastructure work throughout Hawaii and the Pacific region. This full-time position oversees craft teams and coordinates with engineers and project staff to deliver safe, productive work.

Project Details

Projects may involve ports, docks, wharves, piers, bridges, and other waterfront structures. The role supports multiple crews and construction scopes in field environments that may vary by assignment.

Responsibilities

• Direct crews and craft personnel while monitoring safety, quality, productivity, costs, and schedule performance.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, work sequencing, and production requirements.
• Work with engineers, foremen, superintendents, and project teams to maintain efficient workflow.
• Track materials and orders, establish performance expectations, and address staffing or scheduling issues.
• Apply company procedures for safety, attendance, workplace conduct, and project execution.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of construction experience, including 5 to 10 years in supervision.
• Heavy civil infrastructure experience is required; marine infrastructure and waterfront project experience are preferred.
• Ability to lead multiple crews and evaluate craft performance across varied work scopes.
• Working knowledge of construction safety, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings, and project documentation.
• Microsoft Office experience, including Word and Excel, plus strong organization and time-management skills.
• Cranes experience, personnel leadership ability, and a high school diploma or GED are required or preferred as specified by the posting.
• Reliable attendance, safe work practices, professional communication, and availability for overtime and weekends are required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation is $138,000-$144,000 per year. Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, wellness and employee assistance programs, life and disability insurance, retirement plans with matching, and paid time off.
