Superintendent- Kiewit Water Facilities South

Job Summary

Kiewit is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations for its Water Facilities South district, supervising crews and coordinating safe, productive project execution.

Project Details

The district delivers water treatment, wastewater treatment, and desalination facilities across North America and the southeastern United States. Project assignments may vary by business need.

Responsibilities

• Direct Foremen, laborers, craft workers, and other field personnel.
• Plan work methods, schedules, costs, quality, and compliance with contract documents.
• Coordinate subcontractors, client and design representatives, suppliers, and jobsite teams.
• Administer contracts, lead field meetings, and review labor rates and change orders.
• Plan project completion and turnover while maintaining daily records.
• Coach staff, complete performance evaluations, and recommend organizational or personnel changes.

Required Experience

• At least 6 years of construction experience, including 3 or more years in superintendent or construction leadership work.
• Infrastructure experience such as roads, bridges, dams, or water and wastewater treatment facilities is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, safety, planning, negotiation, problem-solving, and contract administration capabilities.
• Strong organizational, communication, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to access all areas of a construction site and work overtime or weekends when required.
