Job Summary

Kiewit Power Constructors is seeking a Superintendent to lead field construction operations, supervise craft personnel, and support safe, high-quality project delivery. The initial assignment is in Homer City, Pennsylvania, with the position based out of Springfield, Virginia.

Project Details

Kiewit Power Constructors delivers union construction services for power generation, power plant, and solar farm projects across North America. The role may involve relocation and temporary deployment as project needs change.

Responsibilities

• Direct craft supervision and monitor productivity, safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Connect field engineering with construction crews to support compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with other superintendents, subcontractors, project staff, and company leadership.
• Address workforce conflicts and scheduling issues while supporting labor, material, equipment, and schedule planning.
• Enforce project procedures, safety expectations, attendance standards, and workplace conduct requirements.

Required Experience

• At least five years of construction experience, including three or more years in a supervisory position.
• Experience in vertical building construction is required.
• Knowledge of construction disciplines, union agreements, jurisdictional requirements, safety rules, scheduling, cost control, and engineering documents.
• Ability to evaluate craft performance and communicate effectively with project teams.
• Willingness to travel, relocate, work overtime and weekends as project requirements dictate.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation is $108,000-$124,000 per year. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, wellness, employee assistance, life insurance, disability, retirement matching, and paid time off benefits.
