Sr_ Project Manager Building Group

Job Summary

Kiewit Building Group is seeking a senior project manager to oversee the successful delivery of major building and vertical construction projects based in Omaha.

Project Details

The group delivers office, industrial, education, sports, hospitality, healthcare, transportation, technology, manufacturing, retail, special-use, and tenant improvement projects through general construction, construction management, design-build, design-assist, and turnkey delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project performance, financial results, revenue delivery, schedules, risks, opportunities, and claims.
• Develop client relationships and support business growth, proposals, estimates, partnerships, and market strategy.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, business development teams, and internal Kiewit groups.
• Communicate project status and company capabilities while supporting business planning and pursuit activities.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related engineering or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 10 years of leadership experience on large vertical building projects across construction, estimating, design, operations, or development.
• At least 5 years of management experience leading building teams, estimating or preconstruction efforts, or business development.
• Knowledge of engineering standards for vertical building construction and demonstrated client relationship experience.
• Reliable attendance, professional communication, safe work practices, and the ability to work overtime or weekends when required.
