Senior Electrical Superintendent - Electrical Construction

Job Summary

Kiewit-Mass Electric is hiring a Senior Electrical Superintendent to provide field leadership for industrial and advanced technology construction projects across the United States. The role supports project execution, team development, client coordination, and successful turnover.

Project Details

Mass. Electric Construction operates in the industrial market and self-performs much of its electrical work. Assignments may be located nationwide, including projects in Idaho, Mississippi, Illinois, California, Massachusetts, Virginia, Nebraska, Hawaii, Washington, Arizona, and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Superintendents and oversee the development and performance of field leadership teams.
• Manage field contract administration, subcontractor coordination, labor-rate approvals, and client meetings.
• Support job-cost reporting, cash-flow projections, change-order review and negotiation, and project planning.
• Lead completion and turnover planning while maintaining project records and daily documentation.
• Recommend organizational or staffing changes and review advancement decisions through the General Foreman level.
• Resolve field issues and promote safe, productive, and timely project execution.

Required Experience

• At least 15 years of construction experience, including five or more years in a General Superintendent or comparable leadership role.
• Experience with large heavy civil construction projects is preferred; nuclear experience is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, safety, negotiation, planning, contract administration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn company procedures and software, work independently, meet deadlines, and work overtime or weekends when required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation is $183,000-$192,000 per year. The full-time package includes medical, dental, vision, wellness and employee assistance programs, life and disability insurance, a matching retirement plan, paid time off, relocation assistance or per diem for project assignments, and paid trips home.
