Project Manager - Kiewit Power Delivery Engineering

Job Summary

Kiewit is seeking an Engineering Project Manager in Westlake, Texas, to lead technical teams and coordinate delivery of power delivery engineering work for utility and transmission and distribution clients.

Project Details

The role supports transmission, substation, and distribution projects, including overhead and underground systems, automation, and related utility infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering projects, staffing plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and changes.
• Lead engineers and designers through scope execution and quality deliverables.
• Coordinate planning, project controls, quality management, and periodic performance reviews.
• Maintain relationships with owners and design partners.
• Develop design staff through mentoring and technical capability building.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or comparable related experience.
• Previous project, design, or engineering management experience covering engineering, estimating, contracts, and client relations.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction standards, scheduling, contracts, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with project administration software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Reliable attendance, effective communication, safe work practices, and the ability to work overtime or weekends when required.
