Project Manager - Kiewit Power Delivery Engineering

Job Summary

Kiewit is seeking a senior Engineering Project Manager in Raleigh to lead technical delivery and project execution for its growing Power Delivery Engineering team.

Project Details

The role supports utility and transmission and distribution clients on transmission, substation, and distribution engineering projects across North America.

Responsibilities

• Direct engineering staff, designers, and consultants across multiple project assignments.
• Build staffing plans, schedules, work plans, and man-hour estimates.
• Control scope, budget, schedule, quality, risk, and change management activities.
• Apply project controls and conduct periodic delivery performance reviews.
• Maintain effective working relationships with owners and design partners.
• Coach and develop the technical capabilities of design personnel.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Prior experience as a Project Manager, Design Manager, or Engineering Manager with responsibility for engineering, estimating, contracts, and client relationships.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or comparable related experience.
• Professional Engineer license is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction standards, scheduling, contracts, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency with project administration software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Reliable attendance, professional communication, safe work practices, and the ability to work overtime or weekends when required.
