Job Summary

Kiewit's TIC Power District is seeking a Project Engineer to support engineering, planning, and field execution for power generation construction projects. The position coordinates technical work across engineering disciplines and helps maintain project quality, schedule, budget, and safety performance.

Project Details

TIC Power delivers non-union, direct-hire construction for cogeneration, combined-cycle, geothermal, and waste-to-energy facilities, including major EPC projects throughout North America.

Responsibilities

• Support project schedules, budgets, resource planning, and coordination among civil, mechanical, and electrical teams.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and compliance with applicable codes and safety requirements.
• Provide field engineering support, resolve construction issues, and develop practical technical solutions.
• Prepare progress updates and coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, vendors, and regulators.
• Identify project risks and perform inspections and quality assurance activities.

Required Experience

• Three to five years of engineering experience on power plant or industrial construction projects.
• Experience with EPC processes and knowledge of power generation systems and construction methods.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, and other project management or engineering software.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work safely, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and work overtime or weekends when required.
