Job Summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager to lead integrated controls for complex commercial nuclear EPC work. The role oversees cost, schedule, progress, change, risk, forecasting, and performance systems across the full project lifecycle while managing a multidisciplinary controls team.

Project Details

Projects span commercial nuclear power, advanced and small modular reactors, nuclear security, environmental missions, and major energy and infrastructure programs. The position is based from Kiewit Nuclear Solutions offices in Idaho, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Kansas, with assignments at active U.S. project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct integrated project controls covering cost management, Primavera P6 scheduling, forecasting, change control, risk, reporting, governance, and team development.
• Establish control structures, baselines, progress measurement methods, coding standards, reporting requirements, and data governance.
• Manage budgets, commitments, actual costs, accruals, cash flow, contingency, productivity, ETC, and EAC forecasts.
• Lead critical path analysis, resource planning, schedule reviews, recovery planning, and integration of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and subcontractor work.
• Present dashboards, forecasts, risk information, corrective actions, and recommendations to executives, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop project controls professionals and support planning, procurement, execution, and closeout.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, finance, accounting, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 10 years of project controls experience, including 5 or more years leading teams on large EPC, EPCM, or capital projects.
• Experience with integrated cost and schedule management, forecasting, change management, risk analysis, progress measurement, reporting, and EVM/EVMS.
• Advanced Primavera P6, CPM scheduling, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and project controls software skills.
• Experience supporting industrial, energy, power generation, infrastructure, commercial nuclear, DOE, or other regulated projects is valued.
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain facility-specific security clearance.
• Preferred credentials include AACE CCP, PSP, or EVP and PMI-PMP or PMI-SP; AWP, WorkFace Planning, BIM/VDC, CDE, claims avoidance, and schedule and cost risk experience are also preferred.
